Dark Was The Night is a various artist compilation produced by Aaron and Bryce Dessner of the band, The National. John Carlin served as executive producer. Carlin is the founder of Red Hot Organization which is an international charity dedicated to raising money and awareness for HIV and AIDS. The album - comprised of 31 tracks - is available as a double cd, triple vinyl set and digital download. The album is on the 4AD label.
