Joni Mitchell will release a new album, Shine on Sept. 25. It is her first album of new compositions since 1998. You may visit concordmusicgroup.com for the latest on Mitchell's forthcoming cd. Heavy Trash brings together Jon Spencer (Blues Explosion) and Matt Verta-Ray (Madder Rose & Speedball Baby) with contributions from members of the Danish bands, Powersolo and Tremolo Beer Gut. This album rocks...yeah! Do check out Dub Qawwali, a posthumous collaboration of recently discovered tracks of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan from the 1960s and '70s arranged over dub tracks composed by London-based producer Gaudi. Regards, Clyde.
