Riverfront Amphitheater and its like

Jack Hill writes here about the fate of outdoor music events, especially in regards those held in amphitheaters. Personally, I'd like to see smaller stages in more public places and a relaxed attitude on the part of the cities toward allowing small, local events to be held without all the invasive restrictions that we have nearly everywhere now.
